National logistics broker TQL (Total Quality Logistics) has signed a lease with San Antonio’s Worth & Associates doubling its office space in the city.
TQL, which connects clients requiring warehouse and shipping services to providers, had occupied 25,000 square feet at Worth’s Exchange Tech Center, on the city’s Northwest Side. The new lease adds 17,500 square feet, for a total of around 42,000 square feet of space, leaving around 8,000 square feet of available Class B space in the building.
“San Antonio is a growth market for TQL,” said Dan Gabbard, TQL director of real estate. “We recently decided to make it the hub of our Mexican cross-border freight service line of business. We currently have more than 200 employees in San Antonio and are investing significantly in hiring.”
“The transportation business is all about teamwork and quick problem-solving, we are glad to be expanding our space in the Exchange Tech Center for our team to work and grow together in San Antonio,” he added.
The city has quickly been gaining traction as a significant logistical hub for the nation. The Business Journal recently reported that another national company servicing logistics enterprises was expanding its local presence.
Bryan Sethney of Cushman & Wakefield represented TQL in the lease negotiations. Shawn Gulley and Rob Gish represented Exchange Tech Center on behalf of Worth & Associates.
