SAN ANTONIO — More than 587,000 square feet of office space is under construction in San Antonio, according to data compiled by REOC San Antonio, and job growth is one of the main forces behind the building frenzy.
The activity is the most the local office market has seen since the 2008 recession, and it has pushed the vacancy rate for Class A office space down to 8.9 percent, well below the 17.5 percent rate across all levels.
