COLLEGE STATION (Real Estate Center) – Texas gained 268,800 nonagricultural jobs from February 2018 to February 2019, an annual growth rate of 2.2 percent, higher than the nation’s employment growth rate of 1.7 percent.
According to the Real Estate Center’s latest Monthly Review of the Texas Economy report, the nongovernment sector added 256,000 jobs, an annual growth rate of 2.5 percent. That is more than the nation’s employment growth rate of 1.9 percent in the private sector
