Over the past 22 years Charlie has sourced, developed and designed a diverse mix of real estate projects including hotels, urban mixed-use, senior living and industrial with a combined value of over $500 million. As Vice President of Development for Worth and Associates, Charlie is responsible for all aspects of development including site selection, underwriting, due diligence, entitlement, design and construction management.
Prior to joining Worth, Charlie developed new senior living communities and industrial buildings around the country for Titan Development as well as new hotels and self-storage projects for Hixon Properties. After graduating from the School of Architecture at UT Austin, Charlie started his career as a commercial design architect with local firms Lake Flato Architects and Marmon Mok.
Charlie is a 4th generation native of San Antonio and a licensed architect in Texas and Colorado. He serves on a national committee for the Urban Land Institute as well as the advisory council to the School of Architecture at UT Austin. Charlie spends some of his free time playing golf and quail hunting but can usually be found with his beautiful wife, daughter and son enjoying the hill country or the beach in Port Aransas.
