Matt joined Worth & Associates in 2012 as an Investment Analyst and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of the company. His essential responsibilities include managing all aspects of debt financing across the company’s portfolio, facilitating all communication and reporting to lenders, maintaining cash flow projections, preparing property and portfolio valuations, and other financial analysis of development projects and existing assets. Matt also works to develop capital management strategies to achieve the short- and long-term goals at both the property and portfolio levels.
Matt earned his MBA – Real Estate Finance Concentration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He also received his BBA in Real Estate Finance and Development from UTSA and is a CCIM-John Vogel-UTSA Project Competition Award recipient. He has participated in the UTSA Embrey Real Estate Finance and Development program’s alumni roundtable, been a guest lecturer for the program, and has served as an Internship Supervisor for the College of Business at UTSA.
Matt is also a recent graduate of the Real Estate Council of San Antonio Leadership Program (2020).
Outside of the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Taylor, and their dog, Chloe. He is also an avid motorsports enthusiast that competitively races cars in the Sports Car Club of America and has recently won 3 National Championships with the organization.
