The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group (TSAOG) RidgeWood Orthopaedic Center (ROC) is a 97,000 square-foot, three story, an orthopaedic medical facility that opened in the fall of 2020. As part of South Texas’ largest orthopedic practice, The RidgeWood Orthopaedic Center will be TSAOG’s second stand-alone orthopedic medical facility in San Antonio, joining its flagship location on Concord Plaza Drive, and will replace the group’s existing Stone Oak clinic space. The new center will offer appointments for multi-specialty orthopaedics, podiatry, chiropractic care, pain management, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. In addition, it will house a second location for the group’s OrthoNow Walk-In Injury Clinic, a conference facility, a space for orthopaedic research, MRI imaging, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center. When the ROC opens, TSAOG will manage two outpatient surgical facilities and a total of eight clinic locations in and around San Antonio. Worth & Associates is the fee-developer for TSAOG’s ROC and has managed site selection, land purchase, all phases of design, including engineering and architectural work, contractor selection, and oversight of contracts with the general contractor and other involved parties. This is Worth’s first fee-development project, showcasing the company’s long-standing reputation as San Antonio’s premier office developer. Located on 15+ acres in the far North Central San Antonio submarket, Worth & Associates is developing RidgeWood Plaza II and TSAOG’s ROC. With the addition of these two buildings, Worth & Associates will have developed five new-construction projects in RidgeWood Park, totaling 490,000 square-feet and encompassing 38 acres of the 122-acre park. TSAOG’s ROC is the park’s first medical development. The project is positioned on the newly expanded Highway 281 between Sonterra Blvd and Redland Road, north of the Loop 1604/Highway 281 intersection. The two projects will share a three-story parking garage and a beautiful landscaped courtyard. The site also features two restaurant pad sites fronting Highway 281.
